Mission:
ZHL aims to create an impact and change by offering an opportunity to borrow a “human being", whether such person is a writer, a fine artist, a poet, a storywriter, a journalist, or a creative person of another different type, for the transfer of experiences between different generations and minds. In order to attain such mission, the Library is offering several programs and workshops according to the needs of the society by communicating with its audience via social networking media in order to suggest meeting persons and holding cultural sessions that meet their ambitions.
General Objectives:
1.To enhance national belongingness amongst children and the youth throughout the system of the national Emirati values and principles for the preservation of the national identity.
2. To provide various sources of knowledge by borrowing a creative human being, and a book as well, as a main source of knowledge.
3. To attract intellectual and academic talents at the family and the society in order to contribute to total cultural and social development.
4. To develop the society by providing an atmosphere that enhances the concept and value of reading and the exchange of knowledge in a sustainable and ongoing manner.
5. To invest modern technology in the dissemination of culture and reading and the enhancement of the same within the members of the family.
To activate cultural partnership with the organizations operating in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, in service of FDF's objectives and strategy.
