FDF Celebrates UAE 43rd National Day

The Family Development Foundation (FDF) organized a celebration yesterday morning marking the UAE 43rd National Day, which was attended by HE Salem Al-Ka'by, head of the FDF Board of Trustees, HE Mariam Mohammad Al-Ramithy, director-general of the FDF, HE Sa'eed Ali Al-Ghofly, head of the Services and Support Department, Na'ema Al-Mazro'y, head of the Family Development Department and heads of departments and directorates along with staff of the foundation.

 
During the event, HE Salem Al-Ka'by, head of the FDF Board of Trustees extended his sincerest supplications and felicitations to HH, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UEA; HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; their brothers, their royal highnesses members of the Federal Supreme Council and rulers of the emirates; and crown princes, may God preserve them all. The celebrations mark the 43rd anniversary of the formation of the Federal Supreme Council which has proven even more and more powerful over the years, thanks to the wise leadership of HH President of the UAE and His brothers, Their Royal Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council. This power is derived from and confirmed by the patriotism and unity of the UAE people.
 
Al-Ka'by added that the achievements made by the UAE over the last four decades emphasize that the state is on track with respect to human development and preserving invaluable acquisitions. The celebration held at 10:00 AM at the FDF Center, Abu Dhabi, showcased many events. Among these was "My Talent, My Identity" exhibition where a collection of photographic and artistic works of some of the FDF staff was presented.
 
During the celebrations, Al-'Ayala band also presented some folk dances and girls of Al-Dhibiania school, affiliated to the FDF, performed a choral song titled "Ez Al-Emarat" (Glory of the Emirates). The event hosted one section for folk dishes, another for heritage crafts as well as the recreational kids area. This celebration, held under the banner of "spirit of unity", is designed to renew the sense of patriotism for the land of unity, the UAE. All the participators expressed their pride in being "Emirati" under the wise leadership of HH, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UEA; HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; their brothers, their royal highnesses members of the Federal Supreme Council and rulers of the emirates; and crown princes, may God preserve them all.
 
The foundation's cadre also expressed appreciation for Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak; Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU); Supreme Chairwoman of the FDF and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood; for all the efforts she exerts in order to safeguard families and individuals, praying for God to protect Arab Emirates, home for peace and safety. At the end of the ceremony, around 12 noon, employees pledged to keep their allegiance to the UAE, which has proven, under wise leadership, able to confront challenges and promote human resources for their pivotal role in development. The country seeks to provide all means of stability, development and excellence, no only on the Arab regional level, but on the international level as well.
